Overview

After 3 years of successfully hosting the AVPN Myanmar Summit, AVPN is expanding this event to cover the broader Southeast Asia region and moving to Bali, Indonesia in February 2020. The convening will bring together philanthropists, corporations, impact investors, financial institutions and other social investors and capacity builders working across the continuum of capital who have an interest in the Southeast Asia region. As with every AVPN event, the convening will be focused on connection and collaboration with an emphasis on actionable strategies to drive more capital towards impact.

Themed ‘Leveraging the power of networks’, partners and delegates will have the opportunity to share their experiences, learn from best practices, find collaborators and investable opportunities, and lead change to achieve their goals in a much larger scale. Our goal is to ensure social investors are best equipped to address key social challenges facing South East Asia today and in the future. Thus, to cater to diverse players in the field, the event will provide masterclasses, workshops, and plenary discussions to take a deep dive into a broad spectrum of impact areas, including:

  • Climate action
  • Education
  • Gender
  • Livelihoods

In a vibrant ecosystem where all kinds of capital work together to form a Continuum of Capital, the Conference allows funders to explore leveraging different financial tools to achieve deeper social impact. The funding approaches comprise:

  • Philanthropy
  • Impact Investing
  • Sustainable Finance
  • Corporate Social Impact
  • Intermediation (Incubators, accelerators, and SBV)

Who should attend?

  • Philanthropic Foundations, Family Offices, Corporate Foundations, Corporations, Financial Institutions, Impact Funds, Intermediaries (Incubators, Accelerators), Service Providers, Academia
