Session Description

Creative and cultural industries are activities based on individual creativity, skills and talent and deal with the interface between economy, culture, technology and social aspects.The creative economy is recognized as a significant sector and a meaningful contributor to national gross domestic product. There is a need to build a more inclusive economy through identifying and scaling creative solutions to develop new ways of tackling social challenges.

In this session, we will take a deep dive into the creative sector and understand how creative enterprises play an important role in job creation and promote inclusivity. This session will feature a discussion with a panelist of key stakeholders in the creative industries including social purpose organization (SPO), policy maker, funder, enabler followed by interactive table discussions where delegates will explore solutions that can strengthen partnerships.
