Gemma works primarily with clients in the education, philanthropy and sustainability space. Prior to joining APCO Worldwide, She worked for 100 Resilient Cities – a global city resilience network pioneered by The Rockefeller Foundation. She has experience in helping cities to communicate risk and resilience action planning to their stakeholders. Her work involved partnering with city governments across Asia-Pacific to develop and implement city-wide resilience strategies. She has experience of aligning decision-makers behind strategy recommendations through stakeholder analysis, consultation, convenings and the use of results frameworks. Gemma started her career as an urban planner with the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore’s national land use planning agency. Gemma has a master’s degree in international development from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in environmental geography from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.
