Tanoto Foundation Indonesia’s Team in implementing program focusing to improve quality of Basic Education. PINTAR Program or Promoting Improvement to Innovate, Teach and Reach Program, one of Tanoto Foundation’s flagship program, works to increase student performance in reading, math, and science, through partnership with national and local government.
Tanoto Foundation, a philanthropic organization, was established by Sukanto Tanoto and Tinah Bingei Tanoto that belief education quality accellerates equal opportunity.
Ari also assists Tanoto Foundation’s Executive Committee to ensure quality of Program and strategize program replication and expansion. She leads partnership with Bear Institute of Berkeley and Widya Mandala University for program quality improvement and 20 partner district governments in Central Java, East Kalimantan, Riau, Jambi, and North Sumatera Province for PINTAR program replication.
Prior to joining Tanoto Foundation, Ari was with CARE International Indonesia as Economic and Business Development Manager. She was certified as microfinance specialist from Microenterprise and Development Institute (MDI) of Southern New Hampshire University and International Labor Organization (ILO). Her leadership in community development programming is recognized by Exxon Mobil Oil that selected her to represent Indonesia for Global Women in Management Program in Washington DC in 2010 and 2012.
She graduated from Economic Faculty of Indonesia, majoring in Accountancy.
